About Blue Khaltsha

Restoring our relationship with the oceans.

Blue Khaltsha is Hotlane Organisation's flagship marine and freshwater conservation programme. It empowers communities to protect rivers, wetlands, beaches, and the ocean while creating environmental awareness, leadership opportunities, and measurable community impact.

Rooted in Khayelitsha and connected to False Bay and the Benguela Marine Ecosystem, the programme brings environmental education together with practical community action.
